Payments: Preferred payment methods are Cash, Personal Checks or Travelers Checks for payment at our Acadia National Park lodging. We also honor Mastercard and Visa.

Securing with Deposit: If your deposit is paid with personal check, it must be received, by us, within 7 days after reservation is made — in order for reservation to be acknowledged — and must be secured with a credit card until receipt of deposit payment. Remaining balance is due upon arrival.

Amount of Deposit: Reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of deposit equal to one night's reservation or 50% of total reservation, whichever is greater. A 2 night minimum is required during the months of June, July, August & September

Rates: Guestroom rates are based on double occupancy, as all guestrooms are able to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. We are required, by law, to collect a 7% tax on all reservations per Maine State Lodging Tax.

Young Guests: We welcome young guests age 12+. Young guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to occupy a guestroom overnight without a parent/guardian present.

Check-in: We welcome your arrival between the hours of 4 pm - 6 pm. Kindly let us know if you expect to arrive later.

Checkout: Anytime leading up to11:00 am. For those guests requiring an early check out, please let us know prior, as we are happy to accommodate.

Pet Policy: Please be aware that we do have a pet cat, who enjoys having all of the attention for herself. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate other pets. Although she lives in our owner’s quarters and is not permitted to visit guestrooms or common areas of the Inn, those with allergies should be aware.

Smoking Policy: Per Maine State Law, Clark Point Inn maintains a NO SMOKING policy at the inn, on the porch and surrounding grounds, for the courtesy of all patrons and employees. Noncompliance of this policy will result in a $250.00 (minimum) cleaning fee per guestroom affected.

Parking: Our parking lot is able to accommodate 5 vehicles, one vehicle per guest room. Unfortunately, our yard is not large enough to accommodate boats, trailers, etc.

Must be of age 18 or older to secure a reservation.

Cancellation Policies:
Please read carefully and ask any questions before securing a reservation.

• All Cancellations are subject to a $45 fee per room reserved per day.
• For cancellations made 14 days or less, before scheduled arrival date, deposits is non refundable & you are responsible for entire remaining balance due.
• Deposits will be refunded if the cancellation is received more than 14 days out from scheduled arrival date (less the $45 fee per room reserved per day) and if the reservation is able to be rebooked in its entirety.
• Because we are a small inn, cancellations have a significant impact on us. We will make an honest effort to rebook another reservation. In the event that we are unable to secure another reservation, you will be held responsible for your reservation in its entirety.
• Early Departures: If you choose to check out of your reservation before your originally scheduled date of check out, you are entirely responsible for the full balance due. Refunds are not issued for late arrivals or early departures.
• Reservations of one night are non refundable.
• Gift certificates will be honored up to 1 year from date of issue. For reservations made using a gift certificate, the certificate will become void if reservation is cancelled.
• Previously issued gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and are non transferable
• Our cancellation policies pertain to any and all reasons for a cancellation. Cancellations have a significant effect on small Inns such as ours.
• Unfortunately, we have no influence or control over weather related incidents, family situations, airline/flight delays/cancellations, etc. Cancellation policies apply equally to these circumstances. While we are sympathetic to your circumstance, we must respect our business and uphold our policies.

 

Trip Insurance: If you have any concerns at all, regarding your obligations to us and our cancellation policies, you may want to consider purchasing trip insurance. Some companies worth consulting are: CSA Travel Protection and TravelGuard
