Payments: Cash, Personal Checks and Travelers Checks are preferred. We also accept Mastercard and Visa.
Deposit: Equivalent to 1 night or 50% of total reservation, whichever is greater. If deposit is paid with personal check, it must be received by us within 7 days after reservation is made. A valid credit card will be required to hold the reservation. Remaining balance is due at arrival on the date of check -in.
Minimum Stay - 2 night minimum reservation is required June 5- October 16 and during holiday weekends.
Rates: Guestroom rates are based on double occupancy. Each guestroom accommodates a maximum of 2 guests - no exceptions.
A 7% tax is applied to all reservations per Maine State Lodging Tax.
Young Guests: Our bed & breakfast is best suited for guests age 14+. Guests under age 18 are required to have a parent/guardian over age 18 occupying the guestroom with them and are not permitted to be at the inn without parent/guardian present. Must be of age 18 or older to secure a reservation.
Check-in: Check In hours are between 4pm - 6pm. Kindly let us know if you expect to arrive later so we may make arrangements with you.
Checkout: Anytime leading up to 11:00 am. For guests requiring an early check out, please let us know prior, as we are happy to accommodate.
Pet Policy: We are unable to accommodate our guests pets. Please be aware that we do have 2 resident cats. They reside in our owner's apartment. While they are not permitted in guestrooms or common areas of the inn, guests with allergies should be aware that they are on the premises.
So that you may enjoy Acadia National Park with your pet, we are happy to offer suggestions of nearby local boarding kennels.
Smoking Policy: Per Maine State Law, Clark Point Inn maintains a NO SMOKING policy inside the Inn and on surrounding grounds.
Parking: Our parking lot is able to accommodate 5 vehicles, one parking space per guestroom. Unfortunately, our yard is not large enough to accommodate boats, trailers, etc.
Gift Certificates: For reservations made using a gift certificate, the certificate will become void if reservation is cancelled. Previously issued gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.

- All Cancellations are subject to a $35 cancellation fee per room reserved
- Refunds are not issued for late arrivals or early departures.
- Reservations of one night are non refundable.
- No Show Reservations: Deposit is non-refundable and guest is financially responsible for remaining balance due.
Reservation of 1 Guestroom:
Cancellation must be received more than 14 days out from scheduled arrival date for deposit to be refundable. Cancellations received 14 days or less, deposit is refundable if the reservation is able to be entirely rebooked. Cancellation fee applies.
Reservations Including 2 Guestrooms:
Cancellation must be received more than 21 days out from date of arrival for deposit to be refundable. If cancellation is received 21 days or less, deposit is refundable if reservation is able to be entirely rebooked. Cancellation fee applies.
Reservations Including 3 or More Guestrooms:
Cancellation must be received more than 30 days out from date of arrival for deposit to be refundable. If cancellation is received 30 days or less. Deposit is refundable if reservation is able to be entirely rebooked. Cancellation fee applies.
Vacation Insurance: Trip insurance is an affordable way to have peace of mind regarding your vacation arrangements. f you have any concerns about airline reservations, lodging reservations, etc. you may want to consider purchasing trip insurance.
