Payments: Cash, Personal Checks and Travelers Checks are preferred. We also accept Mastercard and Visa.

Deposit: If deposit is paid with personal check, it must be received by us within 7 days after reservation is made for reservation to be confirmed. A valid credit card will be required to hold the reservation. Remaining balance is due upon arrival.

Amount of Deposit: Reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of deposit equal to one night's reservation or 50% of total reservation, whichever is greater.

Minimum Stay - A 2 night minimum reservation is required during the months of June, July, August & September. Each guestroom is able to accommodate a maximum of 2 people.

Rates: Guestroom rates are based on double occupancy. All guestrooms accommodate a maximum of 2 guests.A 7% tax will be applied to all reservations per Maine State Lodging Tax.

Young Guests: We welcome young guests age 13+. Guests under age 18 are required to have a parent/guardian over age 18 occupying the guestroom with them. Must be of age 18 or older to secure a reservation.

Check-in: Check In hours are between 4pm - 6pm. Kindly let us know if you expect to arrive later so we may make arrangements with you.

Checkout: Anytime leading up to 11:00 am. For guests requiring an early check out, please let us know prior, as we are happy to accommodate.

Pet Policy: We are unable to accommodate our guests pets. Please be aware that we do have 2 resident cats, who are quite spoiled and enjoy having all of the attention for themselves. Although they live in owner’s quarters and are not permitted to visit guestrooms or common areas of the Inn, guests with allergies should be aware.

So that you may enjoy Acadia National Park with your pet, we are happy to offer suggestions of nearby local boarding kennels.

Smoking Policy: Per Maine State Law, Clark Point Inn maintains a NO SMOKING policy inside the Inn and on surrounding grounds.

Parking: Our parking lot is able to accommodate 5 vehicles, one vehicle per guest room. Unfortunately, our yard is not large enough to accommodate boats, trailers, etc.

Gift Certificates: For reservations made using a gift certificate, the certificate will become void if reservation is cancelled. Previously issued gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable.

 

Cancellation Policies:
Please read carefully and feel free to ask any questions before securing a reservation.

• All Cancellations are subject to a $35 fee per room reserved per day.
• Deposit will be refunded if cancellation is received more than 14 days out from scheduled arrival date (less the cancellation fee).
• For cancellations made 14 days or less, before scheduled arrival date, deposit is non-refundable.
• Refunds are not issued for late arrivals or early departures.
• Reservations of one night are non refundable.
• No Show Reservations are non-refundable and are financially responsible for the reservation in full.

 

Vacation Insurance: Trip insurance is an affordable way to have peace of mind regarding your vacation arrangements. if you have any concerns about airline reservations, lodging reservations, etc. you may want to consider purchasing trip insurance.
