24 Hour Java & More

Our beverage buffet is available to all guests 24 hours a day. Guests may help themselves to a variety of herbal teas, Espresso, hot cocoas and ciders. Enhance your beverages with Da Vinci Gourmet syrups and specialty tea sugars handmade by Sugars By Sharon.

A small refrigerator is located in the dining room for guest use. Also available, is a dispenser serving local fresh Mount Desert Island Spring Water. Perfect for filling water bottles before heading out for that hike!

Afternoon Interlude

Each day, during our summer season (June - October) we offer our 'Afternoon Interlude' between 4pm - 6pm.

Enjoy getting acquainted with other guests or just relax after a day of travelling or activities, while enjoying afternoon cheese & crackers or Chevre Basil Bruschetta (with our own organic basil) or Homemade Pita Chips with a fresh Fruit Salsa, Lemonade, Iced Tea or homemade Sangria.We've been known to whip up a batch of Chocolate or Cheese Fondue on occassion, too!

Our homemade artisan Biscotti is always a big hit with out guests - we have a hard time keeping the cookie jar full! A few favorites are Dried Maine Blueberry with a Sour Lemon Drizzle, Espesso Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle,Cranberry White Chocolate Pistachio & Zesty Orange Lavender (baked with Maine-grown Lavender from Glendarragh Farms )

Another fun favorite is our Gourmet Cupcakes - Blueberry Rose... Pink Lemonade.. Chocolate Espresso Bean...

Relax in the front porch savoring the fresh ocean air or watch a movie in your guestroom to plan your next day's activities. We have an assortment of area maps, restaurant menus and information on various nearby activities and must sees!

A assortment of DVD's are available for guest use. We always have an assortment of current magazines,Maine based magazines, informative and leisure reading, and plenty of local area information. Our collection offers many books about Acadia, hiking trails, bird watching and other Maine wildlife.
